Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. Who are we hiring? 

This role will proactively pursue new business for MSG Sports sales targeting individual consumers in the Tri-State area, primarily focused on selling Season Membership Plans, Groups, Lounges, Madison Club, and Single Event Suite Rentals.  The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business, hitting sales targets and overcoming the challenges that arise with outbound prospecting in a challenging sales market.

What will you do?

  • Maximize new business revenue generation for MSG Sports franchises through year-round efforts to sell new season ticket membership products and groups for the Knicks and Rangers, Lounges, Madison Club memberships and single event suites for all MSG events.
  • Responsible for handling the entire sales cycle establishing qualified leads, initiating sales conversations, closing sales and continued service for upsell opportunities.
  • Execute new business campaigns through multi-channel outreach, consultative sales meetings, presentations, and diligent follow through.
  • Field, investigate and respond to customer inquiries and issues to maintain positive client relationships and interactions while representing MSG in all customer interactions.
  • Track sales process while collecting accurate data and completing sales transactions through proper use of database systems such as Salesforce and Archtics.
  • Cultivate positive, cooperative internal relationships with departmental co-workers as well as key inter-departmental contacts.
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned by management.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ years sales experience (ideally with related client base)
  • Proven track record of sales excellence and adaptability in another direct to consumer sales role
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills with the ability to engage and build relationships
  • Passionate and enthusiastic with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Shown ability to identify and engage various types of prospects including potential new personal and corporate clients
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Archtics Ticketing Database and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple responsibilities

Pay Range
$55,000$55,000 USD
